Post-Doctoral Fellows

Researchers interested in a postdoctoral position in our lab should e-mail Dr. Ingraham with (1) a cover letter describing your research interests, skills you hope to gain by working with us, and skills you bring to our team, (2) an updated curriculum vitae (CV), and (3) contact information for 2-3 references. You are welcome to reach out to Dr. Ingraham any time to discuss available opportunities, but funding for post-doctoral positions varies depending on current grants and projects. Any specific positions will be advertised when open.

PhD Students

Prospective PhD students interested in working in the lab for their doctoral research should apply to UW graduate programs in Electrical & Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Please indicate Professor Ingraham as a potential advisor on the application and describe your relevant research interests and experiences in your statements. Prior to admissions decisions, interested students may send a brief email to Dr. Ingraham that includes (1) why you are intersted in pursuing a PhD in the lab, (2) a description of your research interests and the skills you hope to gain by working with us, and (3) an updated curriculum vitae (CV).

Masters Students

Masters students currently enrolled in UW Masters programs in Electrical & Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering who are interested in pursuing thesis research in the lab should send a brief email to Dr. Ingraham that includes the following information: (1) which Masters program you are enrolled in at UW and your year in the program, (2) your career goals post-Masters (e.g., industry, a PhD program), (3) your thesis research interests and the skills you hope to gain by working with us, and (4) a curriculum vitae (CV).

Undergraduate Students

Opportunities for undergraduate students to join the lab vary based on personnel and current projects. If you are interested in pursuing undergraduate research in the lab, please fill out this web application (requires UW login). After you have applied, Dr. Ingraham will reach out to you if there are opportunities that match your interests.
